Diluted Household Bleach

If you want, you can use hot water instead of cold water. A common mistake people make is that they spray the bleach solution using a spray bottle. It would help if you never did this as the chemicals present in bleach can react with the spray bottle.
Rubbing Alcohol
Rubbing alcohol, also known as Isopropyl Alcohol, is another effective alternative to disinfectant solutions. Rubbing alcohol is available in any drugstore or pharmacy. It is the end product of water mixed with ethyl alcohol. Rubbing alcohol can deactivate any lipid viruses.
Most sanitisers contain 90-91% alcohol. However, studies found that any solution containing 70% alcohol is good enough to kill viruses.
Hydrogen Peroxide
Hydrogen Peroxide is a natural alternative to disinfectant solutions. Use 50% water and 50% hydrogen peroxide solution before using. You can add vinegar to increase the effectiveness. This solution is free of any toxic substances as well as it is effective at killing bacteria. You can even use this solution as a sanitiser. Doctors even recommend it because it is suitable for kids also.
Silver
Silver is also a natural alternative, and even it is also toxic-free. But the ingredients to make the solution aren’t easy to find. This alternative is effective in killing viruses, bacteria even fungi. You can use it to clean food contact surfaces.
Studies found that it can kill many viruses and bacteria such as norovirus, listeria, E. coli, MRSA, human coronavirus, and salmonella. Quite impressive, isn’t it? Try to avoid skin to skin contact with it. Because a solution containing over 100 ppm of silver can damages skin.
Vinegar
Every household has vinegar. Vinegar is essential for some foods. It has anti-bacterial as well as anti-viral properties that keep food fresh. You can mix water and vinegar if you are looking for an alternative to disinfectant solutions.
It is essential to use any of these solutions if you have problems with disinfectant solutions. Even though these solutions have some side effects yet they are good to use.
